Norma Wellington’s designs have been featured in several outstanding national magazines. Her “Gloria” emerald necklace was shown on the cover of LINK, the official magazine of the Jewelry Information Center, which presents the most exciting and noteworthy trends in jewelry fashion. A piece was selected to be worn with a Vera Wang gown for the Fairy Tale wedding section in ELEGANT BRIDE. Norma's jewelry, also, has appeared in the prestigious "JQ" The Jewelers International Quorum, and has been worn many times on Channel Seven, with her name mentioned. Additionally, her pieces have been featured on multiple occassions on the style pages of "201" magazine, which also featured her annual jewelry show and sale benefiting the Kaplen Adult Reach Center at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades that raised significant funds for the charity. ABC anchorwoman Lori Stokes has appeared many times wearing Norma Wellington designs.

One of Norma’s most memorable designs is a one-of-a-kind pin she made for Ruth Gruber, the young woman appointed a General, under President Roosevelt during WWII, so that she could shepherd 1000 refugees, by boat, safely out of Nazi held Europe amidst mine infested waters and a shower of bombs. The pin, entitled “Flight to Haven”, is worn by Ruth Gruber every single day of her life.

Norma is a well-known versatile designer and the Norma Wellington name has been appearing on her original collections, featured at Saks Fifth Ave. and in shows, museums, galleries, and on television in the US and abroad. One of her creations resides in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute. In addition to giving seminars, teaching jewelry fabrication, dealing in antiques, and designing for major manufacturing companies and corporate clients, Norma has traveled the world collecting artifacts and unusual exotic pieces for her work.

Norma Wellington was selected by BC Magazine as a woman of prominence. She has created pieces that are owned by many extraordinary women, including a former sitting first lady of the United States, an aspiring first lady, a nominee for the Pulitzer Prize, an Academy Award winner, the president of the Genetic Society, several TV performers, and many others. She is a member of Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America, the Women’s Jewelry Association, and the Jewelry Information Center.
